Description

XCalibur2400 is a 6U CompactPCI single board computer with three independent processing sub-systems. Two of these subsystems consist of dual 1.4 GHz Freescale MPC7448 processors capable of running an SMP operating system. In addition, each subsystem has a dedicated PMC site as well as PICMG2.16 Gigabit Ethernet port. The remaining subsystem consists of a 500MHz Freescale 8540 processor with a dedicated Gigabit Ethernet port, as well as direct access to the other two subsystems via a 100MHz PCI-X bus.

XCalibur2400 provides a highly configurable processing platform. Each subsystem supports up to 1GB of SDRAM, and can be factory configured for the optimal amount of processing power.

To the system designer, XCalibur2400 provides a feature rich solution to support the next generation of embedded applications.
