Description

XPort7000 is a dual port 2Gbps PMC Fibre Channel host bus adapter (HBA) with a PCI/PCI-X host interface running at up to 133 MHz. Both ports are full duplex fibre channel running at up to 2Gbit/s and are available via front panel Small Form-factor Pluggable (SFP) connectors. The SFP connectors allow each port to be easily configured with a variety of optical or copper fibre channel transceivers.

XPort7000 is based on the LSI Logic FC929X dual port fibre channel controller with an integrated PCI-X interface. XPort7000 is compatible with the standard Fusion-MPT driver system from LSI logic, ensuring reliable operation under a wide variety of operating systems. A local Flash ROM, serial EEPROM and synchronous SRAM allow XPort7000 to support the full range of driver features. The amount of synchronous SRAM can be adjusted to achieve a desired performance level. XPort7000 is available with 1, 2 or 4 MB of SSRAM allowing for 1000, 2000, or 4000 concurrent host commands.
