Program Support Services

X-ES provides a number of diverse services based on the needs of particular programs. X-ES has expertise and experience providing the following services:

• Preliminary Design Reviews (PDR) and Critical Design Reviews (CDR)
• Derating Guidelines and Derating Reports - X-ES has developed derating guidelines to increase the reliability of a component and account for variations within a system
• Failure Mode Analysis, Effects, and Criticality Analysis (FMECA) and Fault Detection and Fault Isolation (FDFI) analysis based on MIL-STD-1629A
• Reliability evaluation and analysis based on MIL-HDBK-217
• Maintainability - a focus on increasing Mean Time Between Failures (MTBF) and decreasing Mean Time To Repair (MTTR)
• Testability - Power-On Self Test (POST), Startup Built-In Test (SBIT), Continuous Built-in Test (CBIT), Initiated Built-In Test (IBIT), and Maintenance Built-In Test (MBIT)
• Thermal Qualification - Performed on-site during qualification with Thermotron environmental chambers
• Structural Qualification - performed on-site during qualification with electromagnetic shaker
