Extreme Engineering Solutions (X-ES) is seeking a knowledgeable and self-directed CNC Programmer to program the machines to fabricate components that meet design specifications. This position will be working with Brothers Speedio Vertical Machining Centers and Haas VF-series Vertical Machining Centers for production and prototype machining in a collaborative environment.

Duties and Responsibilities

As a member of the Manufacturing department, CNC Programmers are responsible for helping achieve accurate and consistent results from machining operations. Specific responsibilities may include the following:

  • Create and modify CNC programs using MasterCAM and verify completed programs by running simulations
  • Create and maintain machining documentation
  • Coordinate material and tooling needs for scheduled jobs
  • Assist in Machining department operations, including setting up new parts, training operators, and troubleshooting equipment
  • Work under the supervision of the Machine Shop Manager

Required Qualifications

  • Graduation from an accredited high school (or valid General Educational Development certificate)
  • Computer proficiency, solid math skills, and a high level of attention to detail
  • Ability to safely lift up to 35 lbs. on a regular basis

Preferred Qualifications

  • Associate’s degree or technical degree in CNC Machining, Mechanical Engineering, or a similar field
  • Prior experience with Haas VMCs, Brothers Speedio, and/or MasterCAM
  • Demonstrated success in managing calibration programs and records
