Extreme Engineering Solutions is looking for detail-oriented technicians who will be responsible for supporting assembly and testing of X-ES rugged embedded hardware. Successful candidates will be able to test and debug electronic hardware as well as assemble electronic components in accordance with released specifications and drawings. This is a first-shift position with flexible scheduling, paid training and excellent benefits.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Setup and execute functional testing as well as thermal testing to ensure product will function properly and meet customer requirements.
  • Perform mechanical assembly of complex electronic assemblies and systems.
  • Adhere to all company operating procedures and training requirements.
  • Perform surface-mount and through hole soldering on printed circuit boards to IPC and military standards.
  • Collaborate with design engineers to improve product quality.

Required Qualifications

  • Graduation from an accredited High School (or valid General Educational Development certificate) is required.
  • 1-2 years of professional experience working on electronics down to the component level.
  • Complete work in a clean and organized environment as well as in accordance with ESD regulations and procedures.
  • Proficient with using computers.
  • Familiarity with using any of the following: soldering techniques, hot air equipment use, microscopes, electronic multimeter and calipers.
  • Ability to organize and prioritize projects in accordance to department timelines.

Desired Qualifications

  • Associate’s degree in Electrical Engineering Technology, Electronics or similar field preferred.
  • Previous experience with product testing and programming is a plus.

Compensation and Benefits

Starting pay is $16-20/hour based on past relevant experience. Extreme Engineering Solutions offers an excellent benefits package, including group health and dental insurance, 401k and paid vacation.
