Extreme Engineering Solutions (X-ES) is looking for an organized and driven individual who is able to take ownership and prioritize tasks in order to ensure accuracy and efficiency within the Materials area of the Manufacturing department.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Assemble and record component kits
- Perform component modifications
- Complete general inventory management tasks, such as placing items into stock, organizing inventory, and performing cycle counts
- Manage moisture-sensitive and time-sensitive materials
- Analyze and interpret material drawings
- Use multiple hand tools to manually process delicate materials without damaging components
- Inspect materials to determine whether they meet X-ES standards
- Record test results and carry out reaction paths, including working with Purchasing to return rejected materials
- Support procedures for maintaining high standards of quality, reliability, and safety
- Adhere to company practices regarding safety and control of electrostatic discharge (ESD)
Required Qualifications
- Graduation from an accredited high school (or valid General Educational Development certificate)
Desired Qualifications
- General computer proficiency and a high level of attention to detail
- Familiarity with inventory management systems and/or enterprise resource planning systems is a plus
- Ability to regularly lift 35 pounds and climb up and down a ladder
- IPC certified or an understanding of the standard is a plus
- Ability to work efficiently and independently
- Good hand dexterity and coordination is necessary, as components are typically very small
- Knowledge in electronics and mechanical assemblies is a plus
Compensation and Benefits
Starting pay is $17-20/hour based on past relevant experience. Extreme Engineering Solutions offers a competitive compensation package with excellent benefits, including:
