Extreme Engineering Solutions is seeking an experienced Manufacturing Engineer to evaluate, research, and improve manufacturing processes and procedures for our suppliers. This role will apply a broad range of manufacturing knowledge and skills in order to assist various functional areas in meeting their strategic goals through continuous improvement activities, as well as provide general leadership within the manufacturing department and advise on process improvement.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Maintain reliable and safe manufacturing systems while improving production rates, efficiencies, yields, costs, and changeovers
  • Administer and provide training on manufacturing and company-wide processes, policies, and procedures
  • Provide engineering support by troubleshooting and resolving technical or procedural issues identified by the project management team, customers, or the Quality Department
  • Provide permanent corrective action to ongoing issues
  • Coordinate with design engineers, technicians, and outside vendors to implement product improvements
  • Lead the implementation of new technology and process improvement initiatives

Desired Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent knowledge base in Manufacturing Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field
  • Experience in a manufacturing environment is preferred
  • General computer proficiency and a high level of attention to detail
  • Ability to exercise judgment and utilize appropriate resources when making decisions that affect product quality
  • Strong problem-solving skills
