Extreme Engineering Solutions (X-ES) is looking for a detail-oriented inspector to ensure our products meet all quality standards. This individual will perform inspections on electronic assemblies and raw material to released specifications. This is a first-shift position with flexible scheduling, paid training, and good benefits.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Inspect materials and products to determine whether they meet X-ES standards
- Support procedures for maintaining high standards of quality, reliability, and safety
- Adhere to company practices regarding safety and control of electrostatic discharge (ESD)
- Use multiple hand tools to manually process delicate materials without damaging components while analyzing and interpreting material drawings
- Record test results and carry out reaction paths
- Conduct testing to ensure product will function properly and meets customer requirements
Required Qualifications
- Graduation from an accredited high school (or valid General Educational Development certificate)
- General computer proficiency and a high level of attention to detail is required
- Ability to work onsite from our facility in Verona, WI
Desired Qualifications
- Associate’s degree in Electronics, or equivalent work experience preferred
- IPC certified or an understanding of the standard is preferred
- Ability to work efficiently and independently
- Good hand dexterity and coordination is necessary, as products and components are typically very small
- Knowledge in electronics and mechanical assemblies is a plus
