Extreme Engineering Solutions (X-ES) is growing our Quality Control team. We are looking for a detail-oriented Quality Control Technician to ensure our products meet all quality standards. This individual will perform inspections on completed electronic assemblies to released specifications. This is a first-shift position with flexible scheduling, paid training, and excellent benefits.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Perform final inspection of completed products prior to shipment and perform full physical inspections of each assembly/unit
• Complete verifications for production process flow and tests, and ensure they are completed and passing
• Enter and record product non-conformities
• Inspect materials and products to determine whether they meet X-ES standards
• Support procedures for maintaining high standards of quality, reliability, and safety
• Continuously measure and improve quality/repair procedures, documentation, and processing time
• Adhere to company practices regarding safety and control of electrostatic discharge (ESD)
• Conduct testing to ensure product will function properly and meets customer requirements
• Analyze and interpret information, which could include material/assembly drawings
• Use multiple hand tools to manually process delicate materials without damaging component
• Perform in-process product inspections

Required Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited high school (or valid General Educational Development certificate) is required
• Minimum of one year of experience in quality control, electronics, a manufacturing environment, or a related field
• Ability to work onsite from our facility in Verona, WI

Desired Qualifications

• Associate’s degree in Electronics or equivalent work experience preferred
• Preferred one to three years of experience in quality control, electronics, a manufacturing environment, or a related field
• IPC certified or an understanding of the standard is preferred
• General computer proficiency and a high level of attention to detail is strongly preferred
• Ability to work efficiently and independently
• Good hand dexterity and coordination is necessary, as products and components are typically very small
• Knowledge in electronics and mechanical assemblies is a plus
