Contribute to the ongoing development of web applications and command line tools that have a direct impact on the company’s engineering, manufacturing, and business processes. Working within a small team, student developers gain hands-on experience implementing new projects and features, troubleshooting bugs, and continuously improving our development workflows and environments. Typical work includes the opportunity to utilize a range of programming languages and tools including PHP, Symfony, Python, Django, JavaScript, and MySQL.

This position is full-time and in-person at our Verona, WI facility for either a summer internship (May–August of 2025), a spring-summer co-op (January–August of 2025), or a summer-fall co-op (May–December of 2025). Co-ops typically require students to take a semester off of school to accommodate.

Qualifications

  • Currently pursuing a degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field
  • Knowledge of object-oriented design principles and common design patterns with some experience with Python, PHP, or another dynamic language
  • A basic understanding of common software development tools and practices such as Git and GitLab, package management, automated testing, and code review
  • Comfortable working in a primarily Linux-based environment
