Extreme Engineering Solutions (X-ES) is looking for an organized and driven individual to take ownership and prioritize tasks in the shipping and receiving areas of the Manufacturing Department to ensure accuracy and efficiency. This is a first-shift position with paid training and excellent benefits.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Verify contents, properly label, and record incoming materials and products
- Prepare materials and products for inspection or stocking
- Verify contents, package, and record outgoing materials and products
- Receive, track, and ship external property and equipment
- Review bi-weekly timesheets and provide feedback
- Complete performance reviews
- Identify areas needing improvement, suggest solutions, and execute changes
- Delegate tasks to the team and develop team members as needed to complete a given task
Required Qualifications
- Graduation from an accredited high school (or valid General Educational Development certificate) is required
- Minimum of four years of relevant experience, which may include working in shipping, warehousing, logistics, or manufacturing
- Ability to regularly lift 35 pounds
- Ability to critically think and make independent decisions that are guided by policies, procedures, and business structure
- Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
- Ability to interpret detailed drawings
- Computer proficiency and a high level of organization with strong attention to detail
- Self-motivated, ability to work independently with a high degree of accuracy
- Ability to work onsite from our facility located at 9901 Silicon Prairie Parkway in Verona, WI
Desired Qualifications
- Experience leading a team as a manager, supervisor, or equivalent, and the ability to effectively communicate as such
- Familiarity with inventory management systems and/or enterprise resource planning systems is a plus
- Experience with shipping and/or receiving processes is a plus
