This person will be involved in all aspects of board-level product design through the formal transfer to production. This key position has broad exposure to and close interaction with electrical and mechanical design, software integration and debug, qualification testing, and production planning.

X-ES is seeking a self-directed Hardware Test Engineer to help ensure that X-ES products conform to required specifications through product testing and design verification. They will create procedures, perform testing, analyze results, and identify design defects. The Design Verification Test team is also responsible for verifying that designs function as intended and will test the performance limits of embedded systems designed to operate in rugged environments – including projects for industrial, commercial, military, and aerospace customers.

X-ES is looking for a hands-on Hardware Debug Engineer to diagnose, troubleshoot, and recover rugged embedded computing hardware. This role supports Production by investigating failures on complex single board computers and system assemblies, often requiring troubleshooting down to the component level.

The Hardware Debug Engineer will use electrical test equipment, product schematics, assembly documentation, software tools, and structured troubleshooting techniques to identify root causes of hardware failures. This position works closely with Production, Manufacturing Engineering, and Design Engineering to resolve individual failures and identify opportunities to improve product quality, manufacturing processes, and product designs.

X-ES is looking for a CNC Machinist to operate CNC milling machines, perform standard setups, and inspect precision-machined components. The ideal candidate has experience with CNC machine setup, operation, and quality inspections. This is a second-shift position offering flexible scheduling, excellent benefits, a clean and air-conditioned work environment, and opportunities for overtime. Project management responsibilities will also be part of the role, ensuring a timely and successful delivery to meet our clients’ needs.

In addition to working with the Regional Sales Manager team and clients directly, this role is responsible for interfacing with internal cross-functional teams, which includes advocating to ensure client interests are represented within the company.
