Electrical/Computer Engineering Co-Op
Description:
To assist design engineers in all aspects of board level design including schematic entry, VHDL programming, C driver and test development, initial debug, and design validation.
Qualifications:
2nd year and beyond Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or Computer Science student. Programming in C and Digital logic class a must. Embedded Systems and Operating Systems a plus.
Computer Science Co-Op
Description:
Embedded systems programming and testing working with a variety of different embedded real time operating systems. Work includes porting an OS, like linux, to new hardware and writing supporting routines to communicate with on card peripherals such as DMA engines, PCI based chips and Ethernet controllers, code debug and test application development. An example application would be to configure an Ethernet chip to use multiple parallel DMAs to move packet data rather than memory controller based buffer copies.
Qualifications:
Enrolled in Computer Science or Computer Engineering degree. Programming experience in object oriented programming a must. Knowledge of C programming and digital logic courses a plus. Embedded Systems and Operating Systems also a plus.
Mechanical Engineering Co-Op
Description:
3D model library creation and maintenance of electrical components for SolidWorks. 3D modeling and design of circuit boards and heat transfer mechanisms for circuit boards with SolidWorks. Thermal simulation and analysis of circuit board design and components in Cosmos or Icepak. Design of custom metal work and 2D Assembly drawings in Solid Works for fabrication. Tool development related to and unrelated to CAD/CAM.
Qualifications:
Mechanical Engineering student. ME364 required. ME564 preferable but not required. Experience with ProE, SolidWorks, or Icepak a plus. Programming experience a plus.

Software Technician
Description:
Execute DVC's (Design, Verfication Checklist) on software products. Assist Design Engineers in testing as well as developing software.
Qualifications:
BS or AS Computer Science. Must have some object orientated software experience. C driver experience is a plus.

Description:
Assist with the development and maintainence of a corporate website. Will be responsible for ensuring the integrity, consistency, and accuracy of the written and graphical content online.
Qualifications:
Must have intermediate to expert experience with HTML. Must have intermediate to expert knowledge of Adobe Photoshop CS2, Macromedia Dreamweaver MX 2004, and Macromedia Flash MX 2004. Must be organized, able to work independently, and able to give painstaking attention to detail. Must have creative talent in visual design and illustration. Experience with MySQL, PHP, and Perl a plus
