Dual Mezzanine Card Support
The XChange3000 is a 3U VPX-REDI module that supports a single-width XMC or PrPMC card, providing a straightforward path for integrating standard mezzanine cards into modern VPX backplanes.
Both the XMC and PMC interfaces are active simultaneously, giving system designers flexibility to carry forward existing mezzanine investments while transitioning to a VPX architecture.
High-Speed PCI Express Connectivity
The XChange3000 routes x4 PCI Express on both port A and port B of the VPX interface, with either port configurable as non-transparent to support flexible backplane topologies.
The XMC site provides its own x4 PCI Express interface and can operate as root, while the PMC interface supports 66 MHz, 32-bit PCI with P14-to-P2 I/O routing, enabling both PCIe and legacy PCI mezzanine cards to be accommodated on the same module.
Compact, Rugged Form Factor
Built to the 3U VPX form factor with dimensions of 100 mm x 160 mm and a 10 mm stacking height, the XChange3000 is designed for space-constrained systems.
It supports ruggedization levels 1, 3, and 5, with conformal coating available as an ordering option, making it suitable for deployment across a range of environmental conditions.
