The XPedite8271 is a secure, high-performance, single board computer aligned to the Sensor Open System Architecture (SOSA) Payload / Compute Intensive profiles (SLT3-PAY-1F1U1S1S1U1U4F1J-14.6.11-0 and SLT3-PAY-1F1U1S1S1U1U4F1J-14.6.13-0). Based on the 13th Gen Intel® Core™ i7 series (formerly Raptor Lake-P) line of processors, the XPedite8271 is an ideal choice for applications requiring maximum data and information protection along with high performance and power savings.
This 3U VPX-REDI module integrates SecureCOTS™ technology with a Microchip PolarFire™ System-on-Chip (SoC) FPGA for hosting custom functions to protect data from being modified or observed and provides an ideal solution when stringent security capabilities are required.
The XPedite8271 provides fast and efficient I/O with one 100GBASE-KR4, one 25GBASE-KR, and one 1000BASE-KX Ethernet ports. It supports 64 GB of LPDDR5 SDRAM with in-band ECC in four channels and provides additional expansion capabilities by including an integrated XMC site, which includes a x4 PCI Express connection to the Intel® Core™ i7 processor.
Wind River VxWorks, X-ES Enterprise Linux (XEL), and Linux Yocto Board Support Packages (BSPs) are available.
