Description
The XPand1200-1 3U conduction-cooled module development platform satisfies the need for a one-stop rapid development platform. X-ES development systems are designed to be OpenVPX compliant, which ensures compatibility with the next generation of VPX technologies. To increase I/O flexibility, low-cost Rear Transition Modules (RTMs) are utilized to allow quick and easy access to backplane signals.
Included with the XPand1200-1 is the XChange3012, a high-performance PCIe and Gigabit Ethernet switch module. This module provides x4 PCIe and SerDes Gigabit Ethernet connectivity between the six node slots. In addition, a local XMC site provides optional management control and maintenance.
The XPand1200-1 can be coupled with X-ES processor, storage, and I/O modules to provide an integrated information-processing platform. Companion RTMs are also available for all X-ES modules, allowing quick and easy customization of interconnect. In addition, third-party module integration services are available.
